Yesterday Wes and I got to spend a few hours with our photographers proofing our engagement pictures. We both knew we wanted our pictures to be slightly different from the norm and that we wanted to play up the whole Cook-Crabbe wedding.
I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. Here is a picture of a picture (the photos are still in the editing process, so we do not have digital copies yet):
It is really funny because for the longest time I had this picture in my mind. Now, actually seeing it in real life is so incredible. Our photographers 100% caught the image I had been imagining. It is kind of silly but I almost got a little teary eyed when I saw them. I know that Wes and I will treasure these photos forever. And I am absolutely not a wedding expert, but I must say, splurge on your wedding photographers. I cannot wait to share the rest of the images with our family and friends. This is one of the “super-staged” photos we took, but we also have several normal, every day shots from around my house that I love.
Please excuse the quality of the photo. It is literally an iPhone picture of a huge television screen.
I hope everyone had a great weekend. I will be back later with a super out of season pumpkin spice cookie recipe that is too good to hold on to until the fall. I’ve been playing in the kitchen a little bit. 🙂
